Sightings by date

Detailed accounts given below for sightings, in order to show how frequent eye-witness sightings by Cornet and others were in the Wallkill River Valley (and other areas).

1. 1981 October 1-2: 1 UFO (drilling crew at oil well drill site near Richmond, VA, saw circular craft with multicolored lights hover over adjacent field; saw beam of light descend to mudlogging trailer with small figures embedded within it; went to get Cornet, who was sleeping in trailer, but could not find him; saw Cornet returned by small figures; Cornet hypothermic, in great pain, and injured; he did not remember the abduction – only that he had a horrific nightmare while trying to sleep in a trailer bunk; regression hypnosis in 1995 by Fred Max revealed details) [Cornet abducted].

2. 1992 June 9: 1 UFO (took off from field behind Jewish Cemetery on Rte. 52) [Cornet, Ellen Crystall, Mike, and Chris present]

3. 1992 June 9 (TE): 1 UFO (also took off from field behind Jewish Cemetery; circled field at low altitude and then flew East climbing in altitude, making an engine-like sound that resembled a reciprocating sputter; time exposure shows paired lights moving up and away from camera as lights come closer together with distance (perspective); first photograph of a UFO taken by Cornet) [Cornet, Ellen Crystall, Mike, and Chris present]. Note: When we arrived at cemetery we heard a distinctive “pop” from the woods to the immediate west of fence. Sound was like taking off the top to a jar with a vacuum seal.

1992 June 12: Magnetic readings along Albany Post Rd, and along Rte. 52 from hill crest to cemetery; double sensors. Picture of cemetery taken during History Channel shoot in November 2007 after the perimeter fence had been extended to the west to include the tree that had been just outside the fence. That tree marks the corner of a buried triangular alien probe and location of an intermittent magnetic beam that fires out into space whenever the Constellation Booties is overhead. The magnetism over the previous 15 years has caused the tree to grow and expand outwards, as it became magnetized by that energy beam (iron in ground water accumulated in wood). Magnetism measured at 1.7 Gauss by the UFO Hunters for the History Channel in November 2007.

1992 June 14 (Sunday): Magnetic readings along Rte. 52 (second time) from hill crest past cemetery with Pat Huff. Stationary readings at cemetery and at pull off east of cemetery; double sensors. Pat Huff and Bruce Cornet showed up at cemetery at 12:18 pm just after Mike and Chris left for West Searsville Rd. observation area. A party was going on at house down the road from W. Searsville site. The music could be heard wafting occasionally over to the cemetery.

Evening: silent high flying ship, moving very fast from east to west; made right angle turn without banking or slowing, and preceded north out of sight. Chris and Mike said they saw a small bipedal figure running across the field behind the cemetery fence after hearing an ear-piercing screech. Figure was about 3-4 feet tall, and disappeared into the woods. At West Searsville Rd. they saw few lights. Some descending and landing to east of ridge in fields behind trees. Chris and Mike said they saw a slow moving “animal,” described as a stooped biped on all fours, large, seen moving through field at West Searsville Rd. Close enough encounter for observers to describe “slanted eyes.”

4. 1992 June 18 (Thursday, 8:03 pm): Before Cornet went out into field observing lights in the night sky with Crystall and Valenti, he went out just before sunset to take magnetic readings. Cornet was shot with a tiny unknown magnetic projectile (Cornet was taking magnetic measurements with a large Proton Magnetometer along Rt. 14 (Albany Post Rd.), 0.5 miles South of Bruyn Turnpike; he was standing next to the road in front of a residential house, adjacent to an expansive farm field; he was facing northwest, looking into the field; he had

taken a series of magnetic measurements as part of a 24 square mile magnetic survey of the valley; the first four measurements for background Earth magnetism were nominal; the fifth measurement, however, was 60 gammas below normal; the seventh was normal; however, the eighth measurement was a negative 495 gammas; the eighth measurement was still negative by 42 gammas; the ninth and tenth measurements were nominal. The anomalies took place over a period of 90 seconds. At the time of the negative 495 gamma excursion there was a loud report, like that coming from a powerful hunting rifle; Cornet was looking down at the control/monitor box hanging from his neck when he heard the noise and felt a sting on his lower left chest; he saw his shirt move in and out as if hit by something; he continued to take measurements after feeling no additional pain. There was no hole in his shirt. He found a large bruise the size of a quarter on his skin, located where he felt the sting; there was a small red dot representing broken capillary blood vessels in his skin at the center of the bruise; his skin was clearly indented at the bruise. Ten days later he began passing blood in his urine.) [Cornet only].

5. 1992 June 18: 1 UFO (West Searsville Rd. at dogleg bend; probably traveling above 400 mph, whooshed over us, slowed rapidly to landing speed over a distance of 1,500 feet, circled to north, then stopping just above trees; descended rapidly to ground in distant field, all silently; no visible lights or object on ground) [Cornet, Ellen Crystall, and Vince Valenti present].

6. 1992 June 18: 1 UFO (West Searsville Rd. at dogleg bend; took off ascending steadily from field behind trees; traveled west; made jet-like sound well behind craft) [Cornet, Ellen Crystall, and Vince Valenti present].

7. 1992 June 18: 1 UFO (West Searsville Rd. at dogleg bend; pair of lights approached from west, getting bigger, then stopped when flash picture taken; craft turned abruptly south, followed ridge to red beacon, turned east and descended to same landing site as other crafts before descending rapidly to ground and disappearing) [Cornet, Ellen Crystall, and Vince Valenti present].

8. 1992 June 23 (TE): 1 UFO (West Searsville Rd. at dogleg bend; 10:53 pm; flew from north to south behind the ridge west of us, low, silently, disappearing behind the ridge) [Cornet, Ellen Crystall, and Rich Pascorella present]. These are the first photographs Cornet took of UFOs exhibiting anomalous light signature of oscillations in 1992.

9. 1992 June 23 (TE): 1 UFO (West Searsville Rd. at dogleg bend; 11:03 pm; flew from from the ridge west of us, low, silently over and behind trees; disappeared into fields to our east) [Cornet, Ellen Crystall, and Rich Pascorella present].

10. 1992 June 23 (TE): 1 UFO (West Searsville Rd. at dogleg bend; 11:14 pm; flew low, silently over trees from west; disappear into fields to the east; note altitude behind trees of second UFO almost exactly the same as first UFO at 11:03 pm as if on identical flight paths, both well below FAA minimum altitude.) 11. 1992 June 23 (TE): 1 black Boeing-707-like UFO (first spotted on West Searsville Rd. at dogleg bend; probably at 11:22 pm; cigar-shaped craft; no engines; unfolded wings and turned on sound; we chased it in our cars until it stopped, turned around, and flew back in direction it had come; shape clearly outlined below solid cloud cover) [Cornet, Ellen Crystall, and Rich Pascorella present].

12. 1992 July 1 (TE): 1 UFO (follows Cornet home; craft met Cornet at Harriman exit #16 on New York Throughway, hovered in front of parkway lights illuminating toll plaza; Cornet saw one bright plasma light and a small red light, with no visible structure connected them; lights paced Cornet coming home from doctor after he passed blood from being 11. 1992 July 1 (TE): 1 UFO (follows Cornet home; craft met Cornet at Harriman exit #16 on New York Throughway, hovered in front of parkway lights illuminating toll plaza; Cornet saw one bright plasma light and a small red light, with no visible structure connected them; lights paced Cornet coming home from doctor after he passed blood from being shot by magnetic gun in field ten days earlier while taking magnetic field measurements; craft kept pace with his truck, and would not allow him to get closer; it flew low over trees to right side of highway; as they approached Orange County Airport traffic crossing highway, UFO rose above traffic, changed its lighting configuration to resemble that of airplanes below, then dropped back down, returning to a single bright light; object continued to pace him home, where it parked in night sky to the West in a position where no bright stars exist – photo and sky-chart confirmation) [Cornet only].

13. 1992 July 2: 1 UFO (traveling on Rt. 52 in Walden West of Wallkill River, bright white plasma light with small red light behind it flew low over Brock’s car and began pacing us ahead of car; Cornet told Brock to expect craft to stop with us at traffic light ahead; craft stopped with us at red light and hovered just above intersection; Cornet told Brock to turn left when light turned green; craft rotated 90 degrees, pointing in direction we were about to head on Albany Post Rd. as if listening to us talk; we turned and craft continued to pace us low over trees to our right; Cornet told Brock to slow down at curve, because we would be turning right onto Hill Avenue; craft sped ahead and waited for us at the turn, then paced us to our destination on West Searsville Rd.) 14. 1992 July 2 (TE): 1 UFO (11:06-11:07 pm; behind Heritage Farms; rose from below trees; flared plasma lights; dimmed plasma and traveled South; one small red strobe present; an American Airlines jetliner almost crashed in same field after approaching the area following this UFO take-off – probable instrument failure due to high magnetic activity over hotspot) [Cornet, Ellen Crystall, and Fred Brock present].

16. 1992 July 7 (TE): 1 UFO (along Bruyn Turnpike west of Dwarkill River; 10:56 pm we were traveling west on Bruyn Turnpike; spotted a pair of plasma lights flying low over trees on left side of road, slow, silently; stops and did small loops as Cornet set up camera and tripod; disappeared into forest; watched lights moving through forest) [Cornet, Ellen Crystall present].

17. 1992 July 10 (TE): 1 Manta Ray (South Searsville Rd. just east of Albany Post Rd.; 11:47 to 11:59 pm, craft spotted flying South to the North of South Searsville Rd.; stops, hovers, waits for Cornet to change film, then flies low directly over him; he took both IR and color images of craft) [Cornet only].

18. 1992 July 13 (TE): 1 UFO (field north of South Searsville Rd. near intersection of West Searsville Rd., 10:15 pm; erratic flight path; changing light pattern; irregular wiggle trace; flying long after Orange County Airport closed) [Cornet, Ellen Crystall, Steve, and Ralph present].

19. 1992 July 13 (TE,Vid): 1 Black Triangle (West Searsville Rd., just north of dogleg bend; 11:00 pm; craft lifted off silently from farm field behind tree row, brightened its paired plasma lights with ionization of atmosphere, then dimmed them quickly; as Black Triangle approached, it began to level off its climb, then brightened its right light to produce ionization of atmosphere; it then reduced that light’s brightness slowly to match the brightness of the left light; craft then dropped slightly in altitude and leveled off; first jet-like sound heard about 600 feet away; initially lights rapidly spiraled, slowing down as craft approached observers; average speed 17 mph; sound analysis reveals synthetic jet sound exhibiting reversed Doppler effect) [Cornet, Ellen Crystall, Ralph, and Steve present].

20. 1992 July 18: 1 T-tail commercial jet-like craft (white, no markings, without engines on wings or fuselage; paced Cornet’s car low over trees on right side of Albany Post Rd., traveling North – Cornet would see this UFO again in 1997) [Cornet only].

21. 1992 August 6 (Vid): 1 hexagonal tiered craft (hovered and rotated over Highway 17; image #1 very much like that of UFO photographed over Hudson Valley during the Night Siege in 1980s. During that five-year event several types or shapes of craft were described: Triangular, Hexagonal, Circular, and Boomerang-shaped. Three types of craft were described for the August 6, 1992 event: Triangular, Circular, and Hexagonal. The craft videotaped by Crystall stopped and hovered just West of Chester, NY.) Crystall videotaped a large hexagonal-shaped craft, which hovered over Rte. 17 just west of Chester, NY. The images below are taken from her video, and show a craft hovering and rotating slowly, revealing an outer perimeter of lights and an inner core that blocks lights behind it as the craft rotated. Some of these light configurations resemble images of the Westchester Boomerang videotaped during the 1981-1986 flap over the Hudson Valley, documented in Night Siege by Hynek and Imbrogno (1986).

30. 1992 September 24 (TE): 1 UFO (Rte. 211E at Scotchtown Rd., 10:57 pm; bright plasma light transformed, created illusion of turning into single engine airplane with sound; detailed analysis of negatives showed the central white and outboard lights loop together in one direction, then the other, back and forth again and again; strobes on green side were uniformly double and regular; strobes on red side were mostly single, occasionally double, and sometimes missing; central bright plasma light spiraled tightly and rapidly at first, and as transformation took place all lights slowed down in their loops and spirals; no conventional aircraft lights can do this.) 31b. 1992 October 24 (TE): 1 C-5 Galaxy transport was seen circling over the area where the UAP on 2 October was seen landing. Cornet went to photograph aircraft landing at Stewart International Airport, setting up his camera at the end of the main runway. He captured images of that C-5 on approach for a landing. It turned on and off a cloaking device as it was landing. He only realized why the aircraft seemed to briefly disappear after his film was developed [only Cornet present].

Evidence for direct telepathic communication between the pilot of ETV and Cornet in the helicopter: As I went to take a picture with my hand-held 35mm Minolta SLR, with my finger pushing on the shutter button, suddenly I heard in my head “Wait!” I looked at the cameraman next to me and at the pilot, but neither was talking to me. Confused by the command, I went to take the picture again. Again the same male voice said, “Wait!” The voice was as loud as someone next to me talking to me. I decided to wait with my finger on the shutter button. Then the voice said, “Now!” I pushed the button, and immediately there was a flash of light going from lower right to middle left of my vision, and the helicopter was bounced by a mild shockwave. The helicopter pilot moaned with the bounce. This same sequence of “Wait!” and “Now!” occurred with the second and third images of the same ETV buzzing our helicopter. How could I possibly have photographed an object traveling at more than 5,000 mph without knowing when to push the camera shutter button? 132. 1997 October 3 (Vid,TE): 1 boomerang-shaped aircraft (10:53 pm; strange pulsing lights visible only to film; witnessed by 11 members of MUFON team of investigators; flew towards Stewart Airport; overheard conversation between pilot and tower; this aircraft has not been reported or revealed as part of any military aircraft fleet; boomerang has higher-than-normal dihedral angle to wings.) 133. 1998 July 25 (Vid): Small scout craft hovered above the intersection of Albany Post Rd. and Bruyn Turnpike, approximately one mile west of Wallkill, NY. As I drove north on Albany Post Rd.in my Chevy van, I saw a pair of lights at the intersection. Realizing there was no traffic lights at that intersection, I turned on my Sony camcorder and began videotaping. As I got within a few hundred feet of the intersection the pair of lights tilted to my left and rose slightly higher above the road. Almost to the intersection the lights turned from white to whitish red, with an outer rim of red, and the centers still more white than red. As I got to the intersection, the lights quickly turned whitish green, again with their centers more white than green. I had the distinct thought that this was a set of traffic lights, so instead of stopping to investigate, I turned left onto Bruyn Turnpike and then stopped videotaping. Only later when I had digitally transferred the video to my computer, did I see the differences from conventional traffic lights, and realized that I had seen this type of craft in the valley to the south three times before: 7 July 1992; 29 August 1992; 29 April 1993. 134. 1999 December 18 (Vid): 1 large craft (9:03-9:04 pm; lands in small field adjacent to Bracken Road industrial park and huge warehouse complex, Maybrook exit #5, I-84.) [Cornet, Herm Fischer present].

135. 1999 December 18 (TE): 1 UFO (field just north of Rte. 52 across from Jewish cemetery; bright plasmas with ionized atmosphere around them.) [Cornet, Herm Fischer present].

136. 2000 January 15 (Vid): 1 UFO (Rte 208 between Scotts Corner (at red beacon) and Walden, NY; time: 6:19:04 to 6:20:16 pm EST; laser beam shot at driver’s side window of my car: caught on video.) [Bruce Cornet and Patricia Huff-Cornet].

When this craft was over us, it looked like a cross. It clearly followed our car, and when we pulled over and stopped on the shoulder, it turned and came at us, firing a laser at my driver’s side window. The pilot clearly targeted us, but for what reason? It made no sound.

137. 2000 May 4 (Vid): 1 giant UFO (West Searsville Rd. just South of dogleg bend at entrance to estate on top of ridge to the West; 11:14-11:16 pm; low, slow, silent, flares headlights at us; two levels or rows of “window” lights can be seen along side of craft – implying that it might be a Boeing 747; however, Boeing 747s don’t land at Stewart Airport, only large military transport cargo planes; and they don’t fly lower than 500 feet unless on landing approach.) 138. 2000 May 4 (Vid): 1 Manta Ray (West Searsville Rd. just South of dogleg bend at entrance to estate on top of ridge to the West; 11:30-11:31 pm; flies at and over us, turns on downward-directed search lights; jet-like sound analyzed indicates synthetic with reversed Doppler.) 139. 2002 January 12: 1 Black Triangle (triangular craft crosses Rte. 17 in Middletown, NY, traveled West to East, low over highway during early morning daylight, passing three crosses on hill; slowed and made sharp left turn; stopped over farm field next to house along Midland Lake Rd.; dropped quickly to ground – well investigated; Cirami gives demonstration with model of Black Triangle.) [only Sal Cirami witness while driving North on Rte. 17].

140. 2002 August 2 (Vid): 1 Black Triangle (triangular captured on video by Carl Lynch near Richmond, VA.) [only Carl Lynch witness].

141. 2003 August 20 (Vid): 1 Manta Ray (Salt Point, NY; Manta Ray hovered and waited for us to get into position, then flared its headlights and slowly moved towards us; when it nearly reaches us, it turned to our left, but continued to slide towards us; once turned around, turbine-like sound heard as it accelerated away from us, changing its lighting pattern numerous times during its performance; average calculated speed 12 mph) [Cornet, Bill y McNamara present].

The Manta Ray appeared near red cone B in the topo map below, and may have emerged from an underground base at that location, then moved to the East before turning towards Cornet and McNamara and beginning its run toward them.
